Considerations When Selecting Hybrid Vibe Size

“The biggest factor when selecting weight is water depth.  When I am fishing depths ranging from 6 inches to 4 feet I will exclusively go with the 3/8 ounce size. This allows me to keep the bait subsurface in and around Hydrilla and milfoil fields. When it comes to fishing deeper than 4 feet, I like to stick with the 1/2 ounce Hybrid Vibe. This heavier size allows me to fish closer to bottoms of stumps, brushpiles, rocks, trees at a slow rolling pace. For fish that are schooling towards the top, I will also throw the 1/2 ounce size as the extra weight helps to increase casting distance so that I can safely cast beyond the fish and pull the Hybrid Vibe through.”
